Durante el Tokyo Comic Con fue expuesto un teaser preview del proximo anime de Ultraman basado en el manga del mismo nombre escrito por Eiichi Shimizu e ilustrado por Tomohiro Shimoguchi. Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East) y Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) trabajan juntos para dirigir el proyecto 3DCG en Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts.
